Gladiatrix II: In the Shadows of Darkness - Week 13 Update

Welcome to the Ladies Only Wing of the Lounge of Forbidden Delights. Tonight's guest artist is Paris Kross and he will be giving one of his world famous poetry readings. He will soon find out, much to his dismay, that the ladies aren't interested in poetry and have other ideas for entertainment.

 In the Ladies Only Wing, the audience anxiously awaits the caged gladiator show.

Module Progress:

• The Magalia Academy quest is complete
• I need to finish the end of the Badlands and complete one more quest. Then this section of the module will be ready for beta testing.   
• I'll post a request for beta testers when it is ready.

Gladiatrix II: In the Shadows of Darkness - Week 12 Update

Your roommate at the Magalia Academy is Syndalar Arneman. She has an interesting backstory on how she ended up at the school. She also has murder in mind, but the question is why?

 In the Magalia Arena, young mages have to prove their worth in melee combat as well as spells. Here, you are sparring with flaming quarterstaves against one of the best students.

Module Progress:

• Still working on the Magalia Academy quest as it is probably the most involved in Nova's Cape, but I'm almost finished with it.
• After that, I just have some touching up and fleshing out to do and then this section of the module will be ready for beta testing.  

Gladiatrix II: In the Shadows of Darkness - Week 11 Update

During the first day of training at the Magalia Mage Academy, Master Lorik asks one of the students to demonstrate his technique with the fireball spell. He tells him to destroy the statue at the end of the training hall, but something goes terribly awry.

Module Progress:

• I had some things come up this week so I didn't get as much building time in. I should be back on track now. 
• Still finishing up the Magalia Academy quests and the Badlands.

Gladiatrix II: In the Shadows of Darkness - Week 10 Update

In the Badlands catacombs, you have the option of making a deal with a vampire. The question is, 'should you?' It will either work in your favor or against you.

Module Progress

• This past week I spent most of my time backtracking and filling in some gaps in what I've already built.
• The upcoming week will be spent mostly concentrating on the Magalia Mage Academy quest.

Gladiatrix II: In the Shadows of Darkness - Week 9 Update

Beta disguises Sierra as a mage in order to investigate the Magalia Mage Academy. She also supplies her with an amulet that is charged with the necessary spells to make a convincing infiltration.

Module Progress:

• I changed the name of the mage academy. I didn't like the name I originally had
• Still working on finishing up the Nova's Cape region
• This segment of the module is taking a bit longer than I had thought. I thought I'd be ready for beta testing this section by now, but I still have a bit of work to do. Thanks for being patient everyone. I think the module will be better in the long run with the extra time spent.

Gladiatrix II: In the Shadows of Darkness - Week 8 Update

In the village of Edgeland, the last remaining villager pleads with you. His wife died three nights ago and he buried her. Since then, he is haunted by her screams and moans each night.

 

 Hideous undead plague the Badlands.

 

Module Progress:

• Currently working on the Badlands.
• Still have the Magular Mage Academy quest to do. When that is done then the Nova's Cape section of the module will be complete.

Gladiatrix II: In the Shadows of Darkness - Week 7 Update

Welcome to the Temple of the Wayward Heart. Few of Nova's Cape citizens visit the temple as most of the population is content living in sin and iniquity. Priestess Emmalynn of the goddess LeLune needs your help. There is an outbreak of undead activity in the Badlands and if it goes unchecked it could threaten Nova's Cape.

Module Progress: 

• I spent most of the week tying up some loose ends in Nova's Cape. 
• Ugh, I also wasted two days trying to build a roulette script for the casino that ended up not working at all. Apparently there are system delays when you have a random 'Text Appears When' Script on 37 conversation entries. You would make a fortune if you kept betting Green 0 because it was coming up about 25% of the time! I ended up having to scrap my script but luckily I found a decent roulette script on the vault that I was able to tweak.
• I have two major areas left to do that are in connection with Nova's Cape - the Badlands and the Magular Mage School. When those are done then the Nova's Cape section of the module will be complete and ready to be beta tested. So it will probably be a couple more weeks before I finish those.
