Sierra is in disguise stalking the streets late at night to complete one of Felonious's dark tasks.
Welcome to the Lounge of Forbidden Delights. If you have enough coin, you can engage in a high-stakes game of Knaves and Royals. Or you could try your luck at Roulette. The lounge also has a gentlemen's club and a 'lady's only' wing for those who choose to indulge their appetites beyond gambling.
Module Progress:
- Finishing up quests and encounters centered around Nova's Cape.
- When the Nova's Cape portion of the module is complete, I'll be opening this section of the module for beta testing. Hopefully just a couple more weeks.

When the time of beta comes, I am interested. Barring real life obstacles preventing, it would be interesting to do some bug hunting and other stuff beta players are supposed to do.
ReplyDeleteThe disguise for felonious will hide Sierra's identity i'm guessing, if so will we be able to take the outfit and use in other questlines that offer a stealthier path?
ReplyDeleteI’m so excited for the next chapter in this story, and I’m very interested in the beta. It sounds really interesting, and since I loved the first chapter I’ve no doubt that I’m going to love the next one just as much. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat, thanks! I'll be posting an official request for beta testers in the next few weeks so keep an eye out for that.
ReplyDelete@jabajack I guess it would be possible to use the suit for a short while, but I currently have the game set for Felonious to take it back after she completes her tasks. She'd probably want to use other armor on most of the other quests for more protection.
Would be fun if the character has a quest that's outside her normal methods of expertise, like for example breaking into a house, where there are a number of methods to try to get in to the house but because the character is a gladiator not a rogue things don't go according to plan. eg, she tries to unlock a window and ends up breaking it by mistake, or just sneaking along a corridor causes her to stub her toe or catch an urn that clatters down the stairs, etc. Just little things that helps give the feeling the character is out of her comfort zone and hasn't got the training for what she's trying to do.
ReplyDeleteWould like to suggest that at night in the city there is a % chance of muggers attacking the character if she goes down certain back alleys? or maybe other nightlife encounters, guard patrols, drunks, etc. During the day could have a chance of a pick pocket or street merchants trying to sell you something (ie a 'treasure' map) if your wandering a market area.
Great ideas! I'll see if I can fit something in. I might not get to do all the good ideas or it will be 2015 before I complete the module :)
